Stephen Jacklyn is a Glass Artist who has been perfecting his craft since 2002. He earned his BFA in Crafts from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and has continued his investigation of glass in both studio and production settings. As a Michigan native, Stephen has worked in countless glass shops throughout the state as well as venturing to shops across the country including those in Louisiana, Oregon, Missouri, Ohio, and California. He has had opportunities to work with many world-renowned glass artists and is currently working at the Bay Area Glass Institute in California. Stephen is skilled in both functional and sculptural glass blowing with a firm groundwork in his knowledge of traditional glass techniques.
